My name is Marjorie F. Hodge though the internet might know me as LadyPinkaboo. My preferred forms of expressions are through illustrations, character design, concept art, 2D animation, sketching and painting. Styles include cartoon, detailed and intricate with smooth lines, and whimsy with themes of fantasy, fan art, and calming landscapes.
My Story
Though born in Albuquerque, NM, she calls home to many places such as Miami, FL; Geneva, Switzerland; and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Inspired to pursue the arts at the young age of 9 after entering a gallery competition in Miami, FL that consisted of multiple participating schools and grades from 3rd to 12th. She won 3rd place while in the 3rd grade at the time. However, her true passion for animation started at The Art of Disney Animation in 2003 where live demonstrations of hand drawn character animation were held to promote the upcoming animated film, Brother Bear. Since then, Marjorie has been proactive in pursuing her dream of working in concept art and character design in feature animated films and shorts.
